Mutah Nikah

 Let's see the mutah nikah ayah in Quran first. https://quranx.com/4.24

We will look at one of the Tafsir of Ibn Kathir on Quran 4:24. It states this is about Mut'ah marriage.

Now let's check Quran Maida verse 5:87 : https://quranx.com/5.87

After surah 4 (An-Nisaa) comes 5th surah (Al-Maaida) which is the 3rd last surah in revelation order.

Now let's check how this verse revelead to Muhammad by Allah. Read Sahih bukhari 4615 (Book 65, Hadith 137 or Vol. 6, Book 60, Hadith 139) From this, we get to know that Allah's apostle granted permission for this temporary marriage or mutah nikah or pleasure marriage.

 

Here we can clearly see Allah's apostle allows the sahabis to marry temporarily by giving even a garment. What is the difference between Prostitution and this marrying a women temporarily and giving her a garment for what the muslim men has enjoyed. Let us see more about it later.

From Al-Tabari we get to know that Mutah Nikah is something we enjoy from a women and that too temporarily according to the hadith shown above. What could be that in today's world view? Surely, it is prostitution.

In another hadees Sahih Muslim 1404a (Book 16, Hadith 13 or Book 8, Hadith 3243) we know that there is a stipulated period for this kind of pleasure marriage.

One may get confused that Mutah Nikah get abrogated. Let's talk about that. Before that, did you noticed the word "UNTIL" in this hadith, doesn't that mean after that it is made Halal? How? In Islamic heaven...? Possibly, because Allah gives 72 virgin females there right according to https://sunnah.com/tirmidhi:1663

Did you noticed the Quranic verse 5:87 and it was the 3rd last surah when we check the revelation order. After surah 5 (Al-Maaida), there comes surah 9 (At-Tawbaa) and surah 110 (An-Nasr). Can any muslim show a single ayah from these surah in which Allah says he prohibits Mutah Nikah which Allah has made lawful for Muslim?

Reading that and the situation why that ayah revelead to Allah's apostle, we can infer that Allah is the one who allows this and says mutah nikah as one of the GOOD THINGS which Allah had made lawful for Muslims.

Now let's check whether any sahabis did follow this instruction and do the mutah thing. When we look at the Sahih Muslim 1406a hadees, we can find that sahabis went to look for women who allow her to be enjoyed by a Muslim.

Anyone of you think that there is a women in that period of time who knows the Allah's ayah about Mutah Nikah? And do you think the women is waiting for her customer (sahabi) who looks for temporary marriage at nights? Who do you think she would be? A prostitute or what?

Sahabi remained with this lady for three nights for temporary marriage. Allah's apostle clearly says that he should let her off after he has done his DING DONG thing and enjoyed her.

Now look at this Sahih hadith Sunan Ibn Majah 2980

Muhammad allow Tamattu forever and ever, that too during Hajj. What a shameful act is that. One may not know what Tamattu means for that lets read another Sahih hadith Musnad Ahmad 432

Did you see Ali used to enjoin it. What a Sahabi of Muhammad.

Now note this hadith Sahih al-Bukhari 4518, we can see this also in Sahih Muslim 1226i

Now we will see about two types of Mutah in Sahih Muslim 1405e
